BIG HERO SIX - The Verdict!

Journal Entry: Fri Jan 30, 2015, 10:53 AM
Yep, it's only NOW that we get to see the Disney/Marvel collaboration Big Hero Six, but it was well worth the wait!  BH6 is not only a visual feast, but has real heart as well, even if the plot isn't very original.  You gotta love Baymax, don't ya?  Also, the short Feast is a sweet little short, and quite touching too.

Wait, did I just admit to liking a Disney movie?  I must be gettin' soft in my old age...

Anyway, expect a couple BH6 pics, as well as some Alien, Pokémon and Bleach work, and my entry for Drumfish's Contest!  I'm flying on these things!  Also I managed to get a copy of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure!  Excellent!

Shifter Alien by JohnnyFive81
Shifter Alien
The Alien 3 proposed by Vincent Ward was quite a different vision to the one we eventually got, and certainly a lot more promising.  With its wooden planet setting, themes of religion and inner and outer demons, and a Ripley that wasn't bald, it looked rather promising.  Ah, what could have been...

This pic is of an interesting take on the Alien, based on designs by Mike Worrall.  Apparently the Alien had some (or appeared to have; Ripley starts hallucinating a lot in the movie) shape-shifting powers, taking on the properties of wood and (as seen here) glass.
