There are many reasons to read the current Ms. Marvel - it has a positive portrayal of a young Muslim, it depicts the trials and tribulations of a teenage girl perfectly, and New Jersey has a hero besides the Toxic Avenger now.  But really, you should buy it because it's a brilliant and well-written (and drawn) book.
