Starblasters

Not one of Mark Gruenwald's better ideas, the Starblasters were a team of lame sci fi villains that battled Quasar as part of a lame crossover.  However they do have a strong whiff of Saturday Morning cartoon of them, so how about them being reimagined as villains for the cheesy Avengers Assemble cartoon?  Featured here are Skeletron (great name), leader of the Starblasters and a villain out to rule the universe; Insidio, evil Ovoid and scientist (probably sounds like Vincent Price); and Xlyym, master of the Skullhuggers that transform victims into zombie soldiers!  Cheesy Disney fun ahoy!
