Yep, you've read that right - about 608 Deviants are now watching my work! Thanks to all who made the plunge, I hope to keep producing quality art for you guys to enjoy!

I also saw Dune Part 2 over the weekend - a visual masterpiece with great acting and set pieces, though don't expect an uplifting ending! There'll be more TMNT, Witchammer and more over the next few days, stay tuned!

About Requests...

Oookay, since some people aren't getting the memo and keep asking (or demanding in some cases) me to do requests of whatever by sending wave after wave of Notes and bombarding the Comments, I will let you know when I am doing requests, not at any other time. Also, I have the right to refuse any request I'm offered, so no, I will not do some guy's reimaging of Willy Wonka or My Lil' Pony because I HAVE NO INTEREST.

Sorry folks, but I've just about enough from certain people (and I suspect some of them may be Bots) who keep sending me Notes and almost ordering me to do stuff I don't wanna do. So for any of my regular and closest Watchers, this isn't aimed at you guys, just the drop-ins who expect their every whim catered to, regardless of what I want to do.

What I WILL be doing, is more Twelve stuff and OC fanart, so stay tuned for that.

New Job, New Film

First off, I'm not unemployed now - I now have an administrative role with Morgan McKinley Health and the HSE, and it's a fulltime position to boot! Due to the working hours there won't be as much art coming out as usual, but there is still plenty to enjoy!

Secondly, I saw Dungeons and Dragons: Honor among Thieves over the weekend, and it's a really fun movie! Go check it out!

Generally, I like to keep my journals free of anything political and topical, but recent events in my hometown of Waterford - well, they have made me and many people who live here sick to our stomachs. This month is Pride Month, but so far the Pride flags we hung up to celebrate the month - they were cut down and burned during one night, then cut down again the following week. And this morning anti-Pride posters were crudely stuck on shop windows throughout the city centre (they're laughable really - something about Straight Pride and have the Trans flag (probably unintentional) as a backdrop). Some people now take it that Waterford is a homophobic hellhole. IT IS NOT, despite what a bunch of cowards (okay, a couple of cowards, and if they are who I think they are, gay people are just one of the many, many, MANY groups they blindly hate without any reason) think, who skulk in the dead of night and perform their "manly" deeds believing that they can get away with it. Lockdown - Easing of Restrictions

Well, yesterday some restrictions were lifted, meaning that if you like garden centres, hardware stores, golf, tennis or working outdoors, you are a very happy camper (PS no camping). For me, little has changed - many comic shops are opening on the 8th June if things keep going well, so fingers crossed! Some of the canaries I raise now have chicks, and they're growing very hardy now! On the downside, some of my relatives have become terminally ill (not from Covid-19, though I have lost a couple of people to that wretched disease), and don't have long to live. Lockdown - Some Progress

Well, there has been a slight let-up on the lockdown here in the Sunny South-East. We can go out for a maximum of 5km (better than 2), and old people can now go out. Next week more major easing is scheduled to happen, and as long as we do our part (unlike those morons who protest about the lockdown by breaking all the rules and then wonder why the infection rate is going up), we should be back to normal eventually. At least Waterford is doing rather well in keeping the numbers down - only one case in hospital today! A new comic strip is coming soon, plus more pics.

Well, the sun's out, and it looks like we'll be in lockdown for another 2 weeks (maybe the old folks may get some restrictions lifted, but that looks to be it), and the weather looks set to be a scorcher next week. God has some sick sense of humour. Then again, with the cases of Covid-19 still high (though dropping), it's not surprising, and at least the government are releasing a plan for easing restrictions today. We just have to hang in there a little longer - and seethe with jealousy at Germany and Italy and the others who are easing restrictions - but not by much, mind.
